Wingstop is a fast food franchise specialising in great tasting buffalo wings. The wings are freshly made and cooked to order.

Established in 1994 in Texas, there are more than 1100 Wingstop restaurants globally; including in US, Mexico, Colombia, UK, Singapore and Indonesia.

Wingstop began franchising in 1997. The U.K. master franchise rights were bought in 2017, the 10th country for Wingstop to move into, with plans to open over 100 Wingstop restaurants across the U.K. in the next 12 years revealed.

In 2018, the first U.K. Wingstop restaurant was opened in London. It is paving the way for more Wingstop restaurants across the U.K.

Wingstop UK weekly sales revenue exceeds £1m, to open its first standalone retail unit

Lemon Pepper Holdings, which is rolling out Wingstop across the UK, saw average weekly sales exceed £1m at the end of 2022, as it secured its first standalone unit on a retail park. The company, which operates 29 sites across the UK, also said “2023 shows no sign of growth slowing”, with like-for-like sales in January 2023 at 50%-plus versus 2022.
