KFC

KFC Franchise is owned by Yum! brands, global franchisor whose 3 restaurant brands, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and KFC, are amongst the largest and most well-known franchises in the world. They are leaders in their respective industries - Pizza, Mexican and chicken.

Yum! Brands has over 48,000 restaurants in over 48 countries, including over 859 locations across U.K. and Ireland. By 2020 they plan to have 1000 stores.

KFC was introduced to the UK in 1965 as Kentucky Fried Chicken. The very first store was opened in Preston.

KFC franchises all vary in shape and sizes, and include the following concepts:

Small box - smaller store concept but same great KFC experience. Only requires 1000 sqft. We look for high pedestrian areas with strong transient population in major city suburbs and regional towns. High student population. Ideal locations are city centres, regional towns, transport hubs, local centres. Pull up parking nearby.

Restaurant - offers plenty of seating, and would be situated close to retail or leisure offerings. Flexible layout, can include mezzanine, basement or first floor. Each restaurant is uniquely designed. Ideal location is city centres, regional towns and out of town retail parks. Should have move of retail footfall and residential catchment.

Food court - anywhere with communal seating or grab and go locations. Ideal locations include service stations, airports and busy shopping centres.

We look for investors to have:
- £5 million in assets
- £2 in liquid

Interested investors need to have previous hospitality and operating knowledge within food and beverage, growth ambitions across the UK and Ireland.
