The Inclusion Project franchise is an award-winning initiative that promotes a healthy, social and active lifestyle for young adults with learning disabilities, helping them to become socially included in their local community. We work with them to build confidence and develop social skills.

Life after education can be daunting and challenging for young adults with learning difficulties, and the social activities that they can join in with can be very limited. This is where the Inclusion Project can help.

We help young adults to pick activities they wish to take part in. Sessions run 7 days a week with participants able to choose whether they wish to attend in the morning, afternoon or all day.

There are loads of activities to choose from including gym, cinema, swimming, day trips, eating out in restaurants, football, trampolining, mini golf, cycling, walking to name just a few.

We work with participants to help them meet 3 social targets that they, or family members/support network have chosen; these can be amended and updated as often as required.

We also are able to help participants with their employability through learning new skills.

Established in 2016, there are now over 17 Inclusion Project franchisees in the UK. We provide you with the systems for making bookings, invoicing and payments and record keeping for compliant operations. We also provide you with 10 days of training to cover everything you need to know to run your business.

The role of an Inclusion Project franchisee includes promoting the business to potential participants via visiting local colleges, nhs, open evenings etc. You would visit participants at homes to understand their needs and work with them to put together a programme that would interest them as well as develop important life skills. You would also need to help out at some of the events/classes. As your business grows you can recruit group leaders to act in a adult-social care-worker role whilst you focus on managing the overall business.
