Visiting Angels Franchise

Visiting Angels franchise offers an opportunity to manage your own in-home care business in this rapidly growing industry. We provide a range of home care services from companion care to end of life care.

As our name suggests, our business is carer-centric. We know our success in the care industry is down to our commitment to only recruit the best caregivers. By doing so, we can rely on them to provide a person-centred care service of the highest quality. In return we acknowledge the contribution they make to our business and put them at the heart of what we do. We support and reward our carers, working together as one big family.

We also listen to our clients and allow them to select their own caregiver via our Choose your Caregiver initiative. This allows families to be involved in the overall decision.

We don’t just identify the health issues of our clients, but we get to know them better by talking to them and understanding what their hobbies etc are. Each career spends a minimum of an hour with clients so neither party feels rushed or unappreciated.

Franchising since 1998, Visiting Angels Living Assistance has over 600 franchises worldwide and is now looking to expand its UK network, which was launched in 2017.

However, we believe in quantity over quality and so are only looking to recruit 10 franchisees by the end of 2019. We want our franchisees to enjoy a sizeable territory and feel like part of team where their voice is heard, and so we will set ourselves realistic targets each year for the recruitment of franchisees.

By rewarding and supporting carers, staff turnover will be low and our franchisees will therefore spend less time and money on the recruitment of carers. This makes great sustainable commercial sense for the business.

Visiting Angels franchisees spend a week at Head Office in the US. You will meet our international support team for some classroom training before returning home to undertake two weeks of training at our UK Head Office. We will support through your entire Visiting Angel’s journey.

Visiting Angels franchisees are the face of the business and so are responsible for networking in their local community to help increase awareness to the brand. You will drive lead generation I order to build your business. We will help you to build your team of staff who will undertake many of the day to day tasks including managing and recruiting carers.

The typical cost of a Visiting Angel franchise is £24,995+ VAT. You will need working capital of around £50,000-£60,000 and £30,000 of liquid capital. Typically up to 70% of bank funding is available.
