Making A Mark With Smart Cartridge

na Scotland's youngest female franchisor received a rapturous reception at a business breakfast meeting to mark Scottish Franchise Week on Friday 8th June.

Suzie McCafferty (29), international development director and co-owner of Smart Cartridge shared her experience of establishing an international network of franchisees with the 266 delegates at the Glasgow Science Centre.

The event organised by the British Franchise Association preceded the opening of the British Franchise Exhibition held at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre.

Smart Cartridge is a market leader in ink refill services with 60 franchisee-owned outlets in five countries. Suzie has been involved since the early development of the brand and has been instrumental in developing the overseas network.

Suzie said: "I was honoured to be asked to speak by the British Franchise Association. The ethical franchise sector is thriving in Scotland and as an Associate Member of the British Franchise Association and Scotland's youngest female franchisor, I was proud to be asked to represent the industry.",/p>

She added: "It was also a thrill to share a platform with Michelle Mone, she truly is a role model for many women entrepreneurs in Scotland."
