Hazel and Ralph Watson bought the Fife franchise of Time For You in 2005 after running their own carpet and upholstery cleaning business.

They currently have about 90 cleaners servicing more than 165 clients, with ambitious plans to treble business in the next three years.

"We want to be the biggest domestic cleaner in Fife," said Ralph.

"We are very passionate about Time For You and it has given us a great lifestyle. There are franchisees within the business with many more clients, and we are hoping to emulate them to grow."

The pair first realised there was a gap in the local market for a new domestic cleaning company when clients of their previous business asked if they could recommend a domestic cleaner.

They knew franchising was the route they wanted to go down, and looked at the different franchises for sale.

Time For You clearly stood out.

Ralph said: "The way the business works is very simple, making it easy to run if you are prepared to put the hard work in. We also found that Time For You was affordable for clients in this area and yet still profitable for us. Some of the other franchises insist on high hourly rates which we felt would be difficult to sell in the is area.

"The support from head office is brilliant. If we have a problem they get involved immediately to help sort it out. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy business to run that has good prospects."
