Anish Panchmatia wasn’t new to franchising when he approached Right at Home with the intent to establish an office in Solihull, but he was determined to move into an industry that would make a positive impact on the community, and finding a company with the right values was key. nish started Right at Home Solihull in March 2023. Since then, he’s seen his share of challenges, but he was able to overcome them with hard work, business acumen, and support from the Right at Home network. He now heads up a thriving and reputable business that makes a tremendous difference for local people with care and support needs.

Talha Tahir opened The Sushi Co’s Kensington’s franchised store in 2023. As franchisee, he now oversees the success of his own authentic live sushi kitchen and restaurant. In the past few years, the Kensington branch has built up a reputation for flavoursome, fresh food in the local area, which keeps customers coming back for more unforgettable taste experiences.

Sunny Rahim is The Sushi Co franchisee for Waterloo, Victoria, Notting Hill and Holborn. Previously an operations manager at Papa Johns for one of The Sushi Co’s co-founders Raheel Choudhary, Sunny relished the chance to become involved in a new innovative brand when the opportunity became available.

‘What good is a person who doesn’t better the world around them?’ That’s what Dan and Paul Taherian’s dad used to say. And it’s their caring nature that led them to set up their home care business, Sylvian Care Woking, in 2022. The brothers wanted to make a difference. Paul was working in accountancy, and Dan was feeling unfulfilled in his role as an insurance consultant. ‘Why am I putting all this effort in?’ Dan thought and instead he decided it was time to start his own business.

Rich Rochester is one of the latest franchisees to join the GoCruise franchise. Though he is not new to the franchise having been a franchisee 13 years go! Having left due to personal circumstances, and undertaking roles in the public sector and financial services, the pull of travel never faded and returning to GoCruise was a no brainer for him.

John Lilburne is the Greensleeves Mid Staffordshire franchisee. John has spent his entire life in employed roles, including The Football Association and a competitor of Greensleeves, and though he had always thought about being his own boss, he never had the confidence in himself to do it, until now! “I had the opportunity to buy a franchise years ago but didn’t go through with it because I doubted myself. Looking back, I wish I had backed myself earlier.”

Natalie Reid is the Greensleeves franchisee for Aberdeen. Natalie worked in the oil and gas industry before deciding to take time off after her first child. After 10 years, Natalie felt the time was right for her to get back into work. She started working for the local Greensleeves franchisee which she thoroughly enjoyed, and so when the opportunity arose to buy the business, she decided to take the plunge! She already knew the business and had invested a lot of time in getting to know customers etc and so decided it was goa od opportunity to benefit from something she already loved doing.
