For many years before joining GoodOaks, Fiza was an Air hostess for an International airline. She became familiar with the homecare sector whilst she was looking after her mother-in-law who she cared for, for many years. In 2020 she opened up her own franchise in Aylesbury covering the surrounding areas, determined to use her experience as an unpaid carer to help people people in the form of a homecare franchise.

And it’s their caring nature that led them to set up their home care business, Sylvian Care Woking, in 2022. The brothers wanted to make a difference. Paul was working in accountancy, and Dan was feeling unfulfilled in his role as an insurance consultant. ‘Why am I putting all this effort in?’ Dan thought and instead he decided it was time to start his own business.
