The Elite Franchise Top 100 recognises the top 100 franchises across the country each year. Franchisors are ranked based on the quality of their support, the success and size of their network and the impact they have on their local communities, alongside other factors.

Home Instead has been voted as the leading home care franchise, coming in 2nd overall, sitting in the top three for the seventh year running and since the Top 100 began; an achievement we are so proud of.

With a 70-strong National Office team and a franchise network of over 255 offices, our network has continued to grow, expanding to offer our companionship-led care services to even more communities across the country.

Through campaigns challenging perceptions of working in care to uncovering the challenges faced by family carers, and another which celebrated the achievements of older people in communities across the UK, Home Instead remains a trusted voice on matters relating to the care sector and ageing.

Winning many awards and accolades over the years, Home Instead’s franchise model and exceptional care has gained recognition setting it apart from competitors.

Both its end-of-life care training and dementia care training have received Princess Royal Training Awards, and more recently the company topped the Home Care Awards. Franchise owners also win awards on a regular basis, both regionally and nationally, making their mark as well-respected members of their communities.

Home Instead CEO UK & International, Martin Jones MBE commented: “To have once again been named as the number one home care franchise in the UK is such a wonderful achievement, and great recognition for not only our network, but the franchising sector and the great opportunities it gives to so many people wanting to be their own boss.

“Going the extra mile for our franchisees is an integral part of our culture, and it is great to be recognised for this. Congratulations to everyone listed in the Top 100!”.

Ruth Brown, COO of Home Instead UK, added: “It is an honour to appear in the Elite Franchise Top 100. 2023 was an exciting year for us, particularly in reaching 250 franchise offices. It’s occasions like that which make you look back and appreciate the achievements we have made. I’m so proud of our franchise network. Our franchisees have collectively maintained Home Instead’s high quality of care over the years and adapted so effectively as the brand has innovated. They will continue to help us go from strength to strength.”
