First Class Learning (FCL) is a highly successful tuition franchise business specialising in maths and English. It is currently the UK’s fastest growing tuition business with more than 300 centres nationwide.

Our network of centres is run entirely by franchisees (Centre Managers) using FCL maths and English programmes developed by qualified specialists using their extensive experience in the education sector. All our materials are exclusively designed to meet the learning objectives of the National Curriculum for England and Wales and the Curriculum for Excellence in Scotland. This curriculum-based approach is perhaps what distinguishes us most in the tuition franchise market.

Our business model ensures franchisees get a high percentage of profits as student numbers grow. Franchisees only need to run tuition sessions one day per week, usually in a community venue, for between one to three hours and can determine their own tuition fee structure for their centre. Our set-up offers lots of flexibility to suit your personal circumstances, and consequently a great work-life balance.

You will join our family of fellow Centre Managers, all on hand to share their experience and insight as you launch and develop your business. Plus, you’ll be backed by our ongoing investment in proven online and offline marketing strategies to help you promote awareness of your tuition services in the local community.

While sharing our passion for working with children is a prerequisite, and some experience of teaching is helpful, it is not obligatory for you to be a qualified teacher. We provide intensive training and a huge support network to give you the confidence you need to succeed.
