New Walflinch Home Care Service Launched in Ealing and Uxbridge

A new home care service has launched in Ealing and Uxbridge.  Run by franchisees Billy and Suky Sidhu, Walfinch Ealing and Uxbridge will now offer a range of home care and companionship services to the community, helping to support people to continue to live in their own homes.

Billy Sidhu explains:  “As a family, we currently look after my own father at home.  He’s independent but is getting older and there are certain things he can no-longer do.  At some point we know we will benefit from more support.  When I discovered Walfinch home care, who’s carers provide flexible home visits I thought this would be a wonderful service to extend to our own community in Ealing and Uxbridge and was inspired to find out more.

“Previously, I was an operations manager for many years but was made redundant during Covid.  I ended up delivering parcels and this was the moment I knew I wanted start my own business.  I joined a grocery delivery franchise for 18 months but sold this back to the franchise company in favour of a more meaningful career where my wife Suky and I could give something back.

“In Britain we have an ‘aging population’ and most people would prefer to be cared for in their own homes allowing for independent living as opposed to moving into a care home, so we recognised the growing need for quality home care.  People are also beginning to understand it’s OK to ask for help.  We wanted to be able to contribute towards how well care can be delivered in our region.

“We looked into two other care companies before finalising our decision to join Walfinch.  The management team at Walfinch, led by CEO Amrit Dhaliwal, has been nothing but outstanding and has been an inspiration from day one.  It’s not what people say but ‘how they make you feel’ and every member of the Walfinch team  has been positive and very supportive in setting high standards and we know choosing Walfinch was the right decision to move forward with.

“Although my background is not in care, I am an experienced Manager.  My approach to leadership is to facilitate having the right team members with the right skill set to do their very best work through feeling comfortable and supported.  If we care for each other by treating others how we ourselves would like to be treated, we can in turn care for our community better.

“Suky and I are now looking forward to providing a range of flexible home care services in Ealing and Uxbridge, through our team of dedicated care professionals.”
