New Merry Maids business launches in Bedford under industry pro
After years of working in care, a Bedford-based businesswoman is expanding upon her long career in care by opening a home cleaning franchise with Merry Maids UK.
Mercy Ikeji, who lives and works in Bedfordshire, has recently made great strides towards self-actualisation as a small business owner with the support of the nationwide Merry Maids UK franchise.

Wanting to work for herself but not by herself, Mercy bought a business that allows her and the local women she’s worked with over the years to run her company, ‘Dezionite Domiciliary Care’, while delivering a caring and compassionate service to those in the community.
“I have always had a strong entrepreneurial spirit and passion for care,” Mercy says.
“In my youth, I owned multiple businesses, including a cleaning business in my home country, which I started in 2010 and expanded before pursuing MBA studies in the UK.”
“In my years working in cleaning, I always admired the professionalism of the Merry Maids brand, and I eagerly awaited the opportunity to acquire and grow a Merry Maids franchise business.”
