Over 150 Home Instead franchise employees complete the Memory Walk

The national office of Home Instead Senior Care put their best feet forward this month as managing director and co-founder, Trevor Brocklebank lead the way in the Memory Walk to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Over 150 employees took part walking a total of 350 miles and raising an impressive £5000.

Commenting, Trevor said: “In our day to day lives we work very closely with older people across the UK, so it’s great to have been able to do our bit to support such a great cause. The Memory Walk is now a firm fixture on our calendar and the funds raised will help the Alzheimer’s Society in their fight against dementia.”

Home Instead specialises in providing care for adults in their own homes. Services range from personal care to companionship, meal preparation, medication reminders, housekeeping, accompanied shopping, specialist assistance with dementia and Alzheimer’s care, respite provision and hospital discharge assistance. In doing so Home Instead enables clients to remain in their homes for as long as possible allowing them to retain their independence.
