Greensleeves franchise sales manager becomes franchisee
Greensleeves, leading lawn care franchise, is delighted to announce that their Franchise Sales Manager John Lilburne, has become their latest franchisee taking over their established Mid Staffs territory.
When John Lilburne joined the head office team at Greensleeves as National Franchise Sales Manager earlier this year, little did he realise that he would soon be on a new journey as one of their franchisees. Reflecting on a missed opportunity with a previous lawn care franchise – a decision he has since regretted – John is now determined to make the most of this chance. With his Greensleeves investment, he is ready to turn past regrets into future prosperity.
“I was working on selling the Mid-Staffordshire territory for the current owner but, as time passed, I realised that I needed to take this opportunity myself,” said John.
“From a financial standpoint, letting the business go unsold meant those valuable leads would go cold. With 700 customers and a significant turnover, losing this business would have been such a wasted opportunity. I could see the success it already had and the potential it had to grow even more. I felt confident that I was the right person to take it over and bring a new lease of life to the business.”
