Homecare Provider Raises Funds for Turkey Earthquake Disaster

walfinch-turkey.jpg

The homecare franchise Walfinch is raising funds for victims of the earthquake disaster in Turkey and Syria.  A JustGiving page called: Care for Turkey & Syria has been created: Walfinch Ltd is fundraising for The British Red Cross Society (justgiving.com)  for donations, all of which will be channelled immediately to the Red Cross to help the centralised support effort.

The United Nations has appealed for life saving supplies for survivors following the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria which have now killed an estimated 21,000 people.  Charities including the www.redcross.org.uk have pulled together to help provide vital supplies including medicine, clean water and temporary accommodation for survivors during the rescue effort, which is currently taking place in freezing conditions.

Amrit Dhaliwal, CEO, Walfinch confirms: “Our extended team including the franchisees and carers across our network were desperate to learn about the scale of the Earthquakes and how many people and families have been devastated by this terrible event.  They collaboratively suggested creating a JustGiving page so funds can be provided directly to where they are needed and quickly.  If we can make a difference to just a few families touched by this disaster, then our efforts will be worthwhile.”

Friends, family and connections to Walfinch are now invited to make a donation at:  Walfinch Ltd is fundraising for The British Red Cross Society (justgiving.com)
