SureCare branches achieve Homecare.co.uk Top 20 Awards 2025

Each year, the care directory website homecare.co.uk publishes its Top 20 Home Care Providers in each region, based on reviews from service users and their loved ones. We’re delighted to see that 4 SureCare branches have been recognised in the awards for 2025!

In the North West of England, three SureCare branches have been identified among the top 20 care providers in the region: SureCare Bolton, SureCare Central Cheshire, and SureCare Trafford. Meanwhile, SureCare Newcastle & North Tyneside makes the list of top 20 providers in North East.

Not only that, we offer special congratulations to the team at SureCare Newcastle & North Tyneside, as this is the 7th year in a row they’ve received this award. They’ve made the Top 20 in the North East every year since 2019 – a truly impressive achievement, and one we’re sure they’ll be hoping to extend next year!

Congratulations to each of this year’s award winners – it’s a real testament to all the hard work, compassionate care, and friendly service being appreciated by their clients.

The importance of good quality care

There are now over 13,000 home care providers operating across the UK. These care teams help to support around a million people with living independently in the comfort of their own homes.

As our ageing population increases, demand for care is only going to rise. Figures from the Office for National Statistics say that over-65s accounted for 19% of the total UK population in 2022, with this figure set to rise to 27% by 2072.

This highlights the need for quality care services throughout the UK, and especially from home care providers as more and more people look to it as an alternative to moving into a dedicated care home.

Thanks to homecare.co.uk’s Top 20 awards, those requiring care – either for themselves or for loved ones – can find highly recommended providers in their area, based on real life reviews and testimonies from current service users.

Elsewhere in the network

While four SureCare operators were recognised as Top 20 providers in their regions, we also wanted to pay tribute to many of our care teams across the UK who are also excelling in their homecare.co.uk client ratings.

A further 16 SureCare branches currently boast a rating on the platform of 9.5 or higher, but sadly they would’ve just missed out on a Top 20 spot in their respective areas. Despite that, we at SureCare believe it’s important to reflect on all that positive feedback as a testament to the hard work of SureCare providers throughout the UK.
