Muffin Break Opens New Cafe in Worcester, Creating 15 Jobs
MUFFIN Break, the Australian-owned brand of onsite bakery cafés, is continuing its expansion across the UK with the opening of a new store in Worcester – the 70th Muffin Break store to open in the UK.
Located in the heart of Worcester at 19 High Street, £310,000 has been invested in the new café, and 15 full-time and part-time roles have been created by franchise owner, Suresh Patel.
Renowned for its freshly baked goods, quality coffee, and lunch options, Muffin Break is committed to offering premium food and beverages, prepared fresh, in-store every day.
The team at Muffin Break will create freshly baked goods daily from its onsite kitchen, and the new outlet will also cater for a range of dietary needs.
Owned by the Foodco Group, the first Muffin Break bakery café in the UK opened in 2001. Today, Foodco operates 89 outlets nationwide across its Muffin Break and Jamaica Blue brands, and the new Worcester store is the 90th outlet for the Group.
Speaking about the new Muffin Break café, Mike Johnson, Franchise Development Executive at FoodCo UK, said: “Worcester is a wonderful, West Midlands location for our latest Muffin Break store. We’ve been searching for the right location for some time and are delighted to have secured such a prominent site for our first Muffin Break café in the city.
“With a strong brand presence and a fantastic team in place, we’re excited to bring our signature muffins, artisan coffee, and delicious lunch options to even more customers in Worcester.”
The new Bakery Café is open Monday to Saturday, 8am to 5.30pm, and Sunday, 9.30am to 5pm, offering shoppers and coffee lovers a welcoming space to relax and enjoy high-quality, fresh food and coffee.
Franchise opportunities with Muffin Break remain available throughout the UK.
