  • Care Provider of the Year - GoodOaks Homecare
  • Registered Manager of the Year - Rachael Dormer, GoodOaks - Bournemouth and Poole

Co-founder Ben Ashton, recognised in Executive of the Year category, has guided GoodOaks through a year of major achievements, including winning the 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction Award from WorkBuzz, securing multiple Home Care Awards, and being named a double finalist at the BFA HSBC British Franchise Awards.

The GoodOaks New Forest branch has been recognised for its innovation in expanding into complex care, while the network as a whole has been shortlisted for Care Provider of the Year, reflecting its commitment to sustainable growth, CO₂ offsetting, and their national pledge to support Dementia UK throughout 2025.

At a local level, the Bournemouth & Poole team celebrates two finalists: Registered Manager of the Year nominee Rachael Dormer, for her leadership in community initiatives tackling loneliness and supporting unpaid carers, and Frontline Carer of the Year nominee Jemaya Bailey, known for her creativity and compassion in client care and pastoral support.

Ben Ashton said: “We are honoured to be recognised in five categories at this year’s Leaders in Care Awards. These nominations reflect the dedication and passion of our entire network, from frontline carers to our management teams and Franchise Partners. At GoodOaks, we believe in raising standards in care while growing responsibly and sustainably, and it’s fantastic to see this recognised at a national level.”
