You will be able to deliver a suite of accounting, tax, financial and advisory services to local business owners, contractors, freelancers, and their families from your welcoming high street premises.

What qualifications do I need to join TaxAssist Accountants?

Franchisees have typically been accountants working both in practice and in industry, as well as in banking, financial, corporate and consulting services. Many also come from a successful business ownership background too.

If you join TaxAssist as a new start franchisee or you are converting your existing practice to TaxAssist Accountants you will need to be a qualified accountant with a practising certificate. TaxAssist can advise you on obtaining a practising certificate if this is something you are not familiar with.

If you are purchasing a TaxAssist franchise resale and you are not an accountant with a practising certificate, then having a financial/senior management position within the banking or financial sectors or proven business background is essential. You must attend an initial training course and employ a practice manager who is a qualified accountant to manage the day-to-day operations of the business.

Routes to owning a TaxAssist Franchise

There are three typical routes to running your own TaxAssist practice:

• The TaxAssist Accountants Initial Franchise Fee for a new start is £19,950 + VAT.  
• The fee for a franchise resale is half of the Initial Franchise Fee, £9,975 +VAT, as well as the price for the overall business. 
• The fee to convert your practice to TaxAssist is the same as for a resale, at half an Initial Franchise Fee £9,975+VAT.
