Pip Evans is an extraordinarily talented performer who prioritises a personal and community-based experience at Theatretrain Basingstoke. She has always had an interest and involvement in the performing arts, attending a dance school from a young age and eventually pursuing her love for theatre. Pip’s illustrious training and performing experience give her valuable insight into what her young performers are thinking and feeling. She has found a wonderful balance between her family life at home and her Theatretrain family, and this is her story so far.

Hayley and Terry Lancaster are the Just Shutters franchisees for Essex. The couple embarked on their franchising journey after Terry felt he had reached the ‘glass ceiling’ in his career. Chris launched his NIC management franchise in September 2013. Having previously worked as a supplier to the retail sector, predominantly working with shopfitters. As the work started to decrease Chris took the decision to move into the cleaning and support services industry and decided a franchise was the best option as he wanted the support and experience that it provides.

Nusrat Ali joined NIC in August 2015 as she was looking for a secure and strong brand to run as a management franchise. After working in Telesales and being a full-time mother to her four children, Nusrat decided to look into starting her own business.

Garry Lockwood set up his franchise in 2015, and a year later won the No Letting Go Newcomer of The Year Award. Following a long career in PR and then redundancy in his early 50’s, Garry wanted a change of lifestyle. Garry comments “Travelling abroad and spending a lot of time in hotels can sound glamourous, but it is also exhausting and I was ready for a change”.

Simon and Julie Baggott bought their No Letting Go franchise in 2020. They are responsible for the Kettering area. It was their love for, and experience of property, that led them to No Letting Go. “My advice is choose something you’re interested in because then you will enjoy it. No Letting Go was a great fit for us as we can work on our own and set our own agenda. “
