Naturespace announces second franchise partner in Cambridge
A second franchise of the Naturespace grounds maintenance brand has launched in Cambridge.
Regional directors Steve Mann and Richard Ambler explored several franchise options to utilise their corporate experience before deciding on Naturespace.
“What particularly attracted us to Naturespace was their mission to work with, rather than against, nature which chimes with some of our core values.
“We have both spent the majority of our careers working in senior roles at John Lewis and therefore have a particular focus on customer service which we want to bring to our business going forward.”
Naturespace Group’s director Owen Barton established Naturespace in 2023 and says he is “extremely selective about the type of people that we want to recruit as franchise partners” but that Mann and Ambler “epitomised” what the brand is looking for.
“Not only are we after ambitious individuals, who are happy to do a day’s graft in the great British outdoors, but they also need to match our values and ethos in ‘doing the right thing’ by the environment, nature, the community for the future of all.
“On top of all of that, they need to align with our ‘Spirit of Co-Operation’ – someone who understands our vision, who sees the journey we’re on and who wants to play an imperative part in that journey; a person who doesn’t think in terms of ‘them (the franchisor)’ and ‘us (the franchisee)’, but understands the inter dependant relationship (we) of franchising.”
Barton adds that he is looking forward to working with Mann and Ambler “to grow their business as we continuously develop and improve the franchise model that underpins it.”
Naturespace is looking for other grounds maintenance businesses or small businesses that might benefit from the support of a franchise system as well.
