UK Expansion Continues: MB Chicken Adds Preston to Its Growing List
Canadian quick-service restaurant chain Mary Brown's (MB) Chicken is set to open its fourth UK store in Preston on Thursday, May 1st, further expanding its presence after successful launches in Northern Ireland and London. The new location will be on Church Street.
The menu will feature MB Chicken's popular items, including the Big Mary® sandwich, crispy tenders, bone-in chicken, and hand-cut Taters. To mark the opening, the first 100 customers will receive a complimentary Big Mary®, and other discounts will be available.
The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating and is strategically located to serve shoppers, students, and the city's late-night economy, with extended hours until 3 am on select nights.
MB Chicken Preston is expected to create around 15 local jobs and will focus on serving high-quality, locally-sourced chicken that is delivered fresh daily, hand-prepared, and cooked using the brand's unique methods.
Co-owners Pritpal Dhillon and Sohail Munwar bring diverse business experience to the venture. Pritpal was impressed by the brand's reputation and the quality of the food he experienced at the Lisburn store. Sohail highlighted the creation of new jobs and the introduction of a fresh food option to Preston.
The restaurant will operate seven days a week, with delivery options to follow. A grand opening event is planned for Thursday, May 1st at the Miller Arcade location.
