TaxAssist Accountants Ashford welcomes new owner

After five years at the helm of TaxAssist Accountants Ashford, Anthony Royle has sold his practice to new franchisee Jonathan Cook.

Anthony said: “I purchased the business myself in 2019 and opened the shop on Station Road in 2020, which boosted the visibility of the practice and enabled me to meet with many new clients.

“I’ve very much enjoyed my time with TaxAssist and I’d like to thank everybody who has supported me over the years. I wish Jonathan all the best for the future success of the business.”

Jonathan had known about the TaxAssist brand for more than 10 years before he made the decision to join the network. “I was friends with a fellow TaxAssist Accountant who was incredibly positive about his experience and I realised this was the opportunity for me,” said Jonathan.

“I have seen first-hand the support provided by the team at TaxAssist Accountants and I know that being part of a franchise with a proven track record will be of huge benefit for myself and my clients.

“I’m really looking forward to working in my local community, getting to meet with clients and explain more about the range of services on offer through TaxAssist Accountants. I’d encourage clients, both existing and new, to pop in for a chat with me to find out more. I can be contacted on 01233 771926 or via my website www.taxassist.co.uk/ashford.”

This is the third TaxAssist resale to have successfully completed in 2024.
