300 people flocked to the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham in early March for EweMove’s annual franchise conference, awards and celebrations.

Titled ‘Bigger, Better, Bolder, Brighter’, the conference focussed on continued network growth, ensuring national consistency across all the local EweMove businesses, who are increasingly proud of their incredible achievements, including more national award wins in 2023.

The headline speaker of the event was Ellis Watson, formerly of News International and SYCO Entertainment, who gave a motivational and inspirational talk on growing the franchisees’ businesses and their own self-development.

Also on the agenda was market insight from Richard Donnell of Houseful (AKA Zoopla), followed by three marketing sessions to launch a new era of EweMove’s Digital Marketing. These new tools are available to all franchisees to support them in growing their businesses further in 2024.

The day concluded with an interview-style session with a selection of high-performing franchisees, covering topics such as lettings growth and sharing proven strategies to convert more leads and win more appraisals.

Over 93% of attendee respondents surveyed in the post event feedback rated the conference highly as being very valuable to them and their businesses.

The Franchise of the Year accolade was awarded to Alex Jewhurst, Jo Moss, Jenna Hoare and Jade Matthews of the Cirencester & Swindon branch, with the latter also winning Associate of the Year.

Jo Moss said: “I still feel like I’m on cloud nine! We felt really privileged to be asked on stage and to top the day off with two superb awards was incredible! We are all buzzing for the year ahead and can’t wait to build on our successes”

Nick Neill, Managing Director of EweMove, added: “To see the fantastic growth of our franchisees, up and down the country is an honour and privilege and I am pleased to be able to work with such an amazing network of true entrepreneurs. Presenting our annual awards is just the icing on the cake!”

Best Newcomer was awarded to Katy Lamsin of EweMove Paignton, who launched her franchise in September 2023. Katy said: “I feel very proud to be part of a positive, forward-thinking brand made up of a team of inspirational people.”
