Local charity welcomes new friends this Christmas
The game is afoot down at Highbury stadium as the Fleetwood Town FC (FTFC) Community Trust celebrate another year of incredible work in the heart of our community.
With a mission to provide socially inclusive community, health, and education engagement programmes, the Trust has always attracted the support of local business and community leaders. Projects the Community Trust are involved with include: A Violence Reduction Programme, Veterans Community Garden, holiday camps for children and young people, and special disability sessions for both recreational and competitive games.
Joining the Friends of FTFC Community Trust, for 2024, is Glenn Willis from InXpress Blackpool. Adding his business donation into the mix, they can help to ensure the community projects continue to impact people of Fleetwood. The FTFC Community Trust is close to Glenn’s heart, as he’s a huge supporter of all they do to educate young people in life skills, promoting self-esteem, respect, sportsmanship, social inclusion, and healthy active lifestyles across the area. He’s always been a strong believer in their goal of supporting and inspiring individuals to become physically and emotionally healthy so that they can become their own positive force in the local area.
As a charity, the Trust is dependent on donations and support to expand on all their incredible work and reach even more young people in the local community.
