Wingers Signs 30 Store Development Deal

Wingers – the Chicken Wing Company – has signed a 30 store development deal for West London and the Thames Valley.   Five experienced QSR investors will grow the brand within the agreed territory in line with a long term development agreement.  At least two new stores are expected to open before the end of 2024, with restaurant numbers anticipated to ramp up to hit targets after that in potential locations which could include the likes of Windsor, Maidenhead, Chiswick, Ealing, Slough and Watford.

Tajinder Choongh or TJ to his friends, is one of the five investors involved in the development deal.  As an experienced fast food franchisee running Subway, Thai Express and Project D Doughnuts outlets, TJ is also the Wingers’ franchisee for the Hednesford restaurant in Staffordshire.  TJ explains: “I’ve worked in the food industry for my entire career and have been waiting for the right business to take to the next level.  Wingers landed in my lap at the right time and offered the perfect opportunity.  We will now work to develop a large territory which stretches from Watford to Wembley and into the Thames Valley.

“I love the Wingers’ fresh, quality food concept and eat it all the time!  I got along with the founders really well from day one and a year in with the Hednesford Wingers and I’m now so passionate about this brand and excited for the future.”

Wingers was set up during the Pandemic by brothers Amran and Dylan Sunner and their dad Bill.  The family firm’s focus on flavours and quality ingredients to create a tasty meal which customers can either eat-in, take away or have delivered to their door meant the brand quickly took off and was launched as a franchise in the Autumn of 2023.  There are currently six Wingers restaurants open in the Midlands with seven more set to open in first half of next year with other franchise partners.  Wingers expects to more than double the size of the estate by the end of 2024.

Amran Sunner, co-founder of Wingers confirms:  “It’s been an amazing year!   We’ve successfully opened new restaurants and taken new franchisees under our wing.  Now the West London and Thames Valley development deal sees our expansion take flight in and around the capital!  We are excited to be working closely with our existing franchisee TJ and the other experienced QSR investors to grow the brand.  Our like-minded, strong and supportive approach means that together, the sky’s the limit for Wingers.”

Wingers has further opportunities for new franchisees in various UK locations and offers a full turn-key offering, comprehensive training and support, simple operation with low staff overheads, a great menu and low cost of entry.  The potential for excellent returns will really help your business take off!
