Lincolnshire franchisee becomes first Blossom business owner to open a high street office

Sharan Gohil, the owner and registered manager of Blossom Home Care Lincolnshire, in November 2023 became the first franchisee to open a high street office.

Located in a former Lloyds Bank branch on Cleethorpe Road, Grimsby, the building has now been converted into a welcoming space for people in the area who want to find out more about the award-winning home care services we provide.

It’s a momentous occasion for both Blossom and Sharan, and we warmly congratulate her on the grand opening.

This won’t be the last Blossom office to brighten up a high street either; Sharan is already planning to open a second office in Scunthrope, making her business even more inviting and accessible to clients looking for award-winning home care in Lincolnshire.

A highly experienced neonatal/paediatric nurse with over 18 years’ experience, Sharan has until now devoted her entire nursing career to caring for children.

However, once she realised her skills perfectly transferred to delivering the best-in-class holistic home care that Blossom is highly regarded for, she made the incredibly exciting move to join our ever growing family of franchisees.

Although her experience in care is naturally helpful in her role, it’s not this alone which makes her such an ideal fit to be a Blossom business owner. Rather, as with all our franchisees, she has the essential traits of a positive, can-do attitude, and determination to succeed by the bucketload.

Sharan’s passion for caregiving extends far beyond her role as a registered manager and she is particularly proud of the time and attention her care team dedicates to clients – a key feature of what makes our franchise opportunity so special.

“Our home visits are always for a minimum of 50 minutes, but many other companies only do 15-minute calls,” Sharan explains. “How could anyone possibly look after someone in only 15 minutes?

“A couple of family members are care workers and feel they’re stuck in the middle, being pushed about and told they need to attend this call and that call, while the clients have to be grateful that anyone’s even turned up.

“It’s like a rat-race of next person, next house, next house, but Blossom’s 50-minute calls leave the clients feeling valued. It’s a win-win situation. We’re providing a proper service and it’s better for the carers as they’re not running around like headless chickens all day.”

If you’re inspired by Sharan’s success in Lincolnshire, now is the perfect time to find out more about becoming a Blossom Home Care business owner.
