New hub launch and further expansion for Alchemy Virtual Assistance
When former global buyer Shelley Hall decided to swap her corporate career to become a Virtual Assistant, she knew she wanted the reassurance and backing of a supportive and caring company – Alchemy Virtual Assistance (VA) shone through by a mile.
The UK’s only family-run virtual assistant franchise has since expanded again with the launch of its new hub in Marlow and Maidenhead.
Shelley is the latest hub manager to join the Alchemy team, providing remote admin and PA support to the rising number of entrepreneurs, growing businesses and SMEs in Marlow, Maidenhead and beyond.
The mother of one has taken a brave leap to switch from her fast-paced corporate career, where she worked for Debenhams, Adidas and Warner Brothers, and instead focus on supporting independent retailers, sole traders and small service-based businesses with tasks everyday administration tasks.
“I have worked in the UK and abroad for some of the world’s most well-known brands,” said Shelley. “But now I am back living in my hometown of Marlow with my young family, and I have realised that helping business owners to grow their business is definitely where my passion is.”
Shelley has spearheaded major projects during her 20-year career, including the retail product development for a brand new theme park in Abu Dhabi and managing the merchandise and licensing programme for Warner Brothers experiences worldwide.
“After what felt like hours of research into what my next career move might be, the franchise model really stood out to me. I realised a franchise would give me a ready-made business model where I could get clients straight away and access the right training. Alchemy VA has the notion of family at the heart of everything they do, it seemed perfect.
“I am very used to juggling multiple jobs all at once, and small business owners are often managing what feels like millions of tasks too - invoicing, emails, bookkeeping, reporting and analytics, social media and lots more. I can take care of all these things on their behalf, working remotely as their VA and PA so that they have more time back for important business development and things they enjoy doing.”
