Empowering Women in Franchising: InXpress International Women's Conference
At InXpress, we believe in the power of diversity and inclusivity, and it was with this spirit that the InXpress International Women's Conference returned for the third year, on September 6th. Over 100 women from around the world came together to learn, connect, and celebrate each other in this remarkable event.
Inspiring Guest Speakers
The conference featured three exceptional guest speakers, each representing one of the regions in which InXpress operates. Their topics were not only fascinating but also incredibly motivating and insightful. Attendees had the opportunity to gain practical takeaways to help them overcome challenges such as negative self-talk, finding balance between personal and professional lives, and much more.
A Wealth of Knowledge
One of the highlights of the conference was the wealth of knowledge and experiences shared. Every InXpress woman who attended found the sessions relevant, stimulating, and reassuring. Here are a couple of reviews from some of our participants, from our anonymous feedback form:

"What I like most about this event is the way it motivates me. This time, a common theme all speakers addressed was the negative way we talk to ourselves, and how this can hold us back, without us even realise it! We can be so hard on ourselves, and as women, we play many roles in life which can cause chaos in the mind. I’m going to start a gratitude journal to bring some of that chaos out and on paper."
Celebrating Excellence: The GREAT Awards
During the conference, we also celebrated the achievements of some of the outstanding women within our network, through the GREAT Awards. The nominations we received from our network of over 440 global franchisees, was overwhelming; the judging panel had a challenging task to select the winners! However, these amazing women truly stood out and were recognised during the event.
We would especially like to recognise Sue Claridge, based at the Bolton franchise. She exudes positivity and vitality, earning her the first-place prize in the "Energetic Fun" category. Colleagues describe her as a “breath of fresh air” and “a whirlwind of positivity that sweeps through the workplace”. Sue's infectious enthusiasm and exceptional interpersonal skills forge strong customer relationships, reminding everyone how joy is an essential ingredient for success.
As we celebrated all our amazing winners, it's important to note every nominee embodies the essence of greatness within InXpress. Everyone exemplifies the qualities of hard work, focus, passion, discipline, and a positive attitude which make InXpress truly exceptional. Their collective dedication reflects the ethos we glorify within our network.
The InXpress Women's Conference demonstrated the incredible influence of empowered women. This extends to every woman working diligently across the InXpress global network. We wouldn't be where we are today without your contributions, and we applaud each and every one of you!
