The Travel Franchise celebrates 400% rise in Virgin Voyages sales

Virgin Voyages has announced that last week, homeworking franchise The Travel Franchise and its consumer-facing arm Not Just Travel became one of its top sellers of cruise holidays in the industry.

Members of The Travel Franchise have sent sales with Virgin Voyages soaring by 400% over the past 12 months. The sales boost is the result of the company's close Key Cruise Partnership with Virgin Voyages following the highly successful Seminar at Sea in June, where over 150 franchisees and corporate team members experienced the ship and enjoyed intensive training sessions during a week across the Med. 

Franchisees are also enjoying the profitable benefits of an increased focus in the last twelve months on cruise as a result of the launch of its Cruise Division, Cruise Mastery Programme and training.

Paul Harrison, co-founder of The Travel Franchise and Not Just Travel said: “Since Seminar at Sea in June, the passion of the franchisees for the Virgin Voyages brand has converted into strong sales. Having Virgin Voyages as an active, engaging and highly motivated Key Cruise Partner has created a bountiful relationship that culminates in incredible sales. Prior to the launch of the Cruise Division last September, our cruise sales were average; as a business we had not yet seized the full potential of the cruise market. Our members simply didn’t know how to sell cruises. Now we have a passionate team of cruise-hungry members who are confident and expert. They know and love the Virgin Voyages brand inside-out. Seminar at Sea enabled them to fully appreciate the unique premium Virgin Voyages offer; they all loved it and made bookings as soon as on the first day. Virgin Voyages' UK departure cruises in the summer of 2024 have also substantially boosted sales." 

 

Harrison continues: “We have experienced exponential turnover growth in all cruise sales within a year, and soon, cruise will encompass a third of all sales by attracting new and repeat customers. Our business strategy works for our consultants, our Key Trade Partners and our members. We have formidable plans to expand our cruise sales even further. This is the dawn of a cruise boom.”
