The Travel Franchise sees members take bookings from day one

The Travel Franchise, the UK's fastest-growing travel franchise, is seeing more of its members taking bookings faster and sooner out of training than ever before.

As the company continues to break sales records this year, one new agent, Eunice Quigley completed her five-day virtual training with The Travel Franchise at the end of June from the comfort of her home and then proceeded to take her first-ever booking, a £6,000, 11-day holiday for a family to Turkey on the same day.

New franchisee Eunice Quigley says: “I just started chatting to people and I encouraged them to send me an email or Whatsapp if they had any upcoming holidays they were looking to book. I would research the area and give them some hotel and excursion ideas which made it more personal and this generated a lot of interest. Towards the end of my training I reached out and scheduled a call for the following day, resulting in my first booking. I've since had three other inquiries from the same person referring me to others.”

New member Mohsin Salejee, an HGV driver, has made four bookings worth nearly £11,000 since he finished training last Friday. Another two consultants from the latest set of training have made bookings within hours of finishing training.

Paul Harrison, co-founder of holiday firm Not Just Travel and its recruitment arm, The Travel Franchise said: “The speed in which new members are making sales show that the training we deliver is optimised to create confident, expert travel business owners who know how to find customers and provide them with high-value customer service.”

So many people are queuing up to join that the company is having to add on extra training dates in September to keep up with demand.

The Travel Franchise is unique to the franchise industry in that it is the only company that allows people to start part-time with its Lite low-cost, low-risk option. The company is accessible to anyone who wants to earn more, but who is not ready to commit to a full career change. The intensive fast-track training means members can learn how to be a travel consultant and independent business owner very quickly. Plus, The Travel Franchise has recently launched an even more affordable option which has start-up fees from just £1000 coupled with monthly payment plans - to reduce financial obstacles to starting up a successful travel business.

Harrison continues: “That single £6,000 transaction means Eunice is on course to earn her entire franchise fee back through our unique Money Back Challenge - effectively starting her business for free. Eunice has only just been trained on our booking systems, learned about the travel industry, and how to find customers; match-making them to the best holiday so that they return again and again. It’s that winning confidence and expertise that sets our agents on soaring sales projections - right out the gates.”

Alison Hunter-Gray, a mum of three young girls from the Shetland Isles, completed training at the end of last month and since then she’s made five bookings worth £26,000.

Alison says: “Anyone that knows me knows I love the process of planning holidays; I pick up a Lonely Planet book and read it like a novel! With the kids getting older, I wanted a flexible job and this jumped out at me. I watched all the videos which were brilliant and then the virtual training was perfect as I didn’t have to leave the kids for a week.”
