The Travel Franchise announces yet another record-breaking month

The Travel Franchise, the UK's fastest growing travel franchise continues to show that, despite the current economic climate, customer demand for holidays remains higher than ever.

The Travel Franchise has released figures to show last month was a record-breaking October, the busiest ever across all areas of the company. Holiday sales are up 133% compared to pre-Covid levels in October 2019.

Consumers are spending more on their holidays too, with current booking values at £4285 per holiday, compared to £3495 in October 2019.

Both the company and its homeworking travel franchisees are enjoying soaring profits, with 2022 already a record-breaking year. The company broke its sales record for the entire year back in August, when total sales for 2022 surpassed any other years’.

Steve Witt, co-founder of The Travel Franchise said: “Our soaring sales figures dispel the myth that the financial climate is affecting people’s desire to book holidays. Our sales success shows that holidays are essential and non-negotiable to the British consumer. It seems that no matter what happens in the world, spending precious time with loved ones is clearly a priority. More people are booking further ahead too, to ensure deals are locked in and the best destinations and prices are guaranteed.”

53% of current bookings are for Winter 2022/23 which includes winter sun, last-minute getaways, ski, last-minute cruise, Christmas markets and Lapland holidays. 37% for summer 2023 and 73% bookings are adults only.

Top destinations, in descending rank of popularity are Spain, Greece, Turkey, USA and UAE.

The Travel Franchise's members are also enjoying the continued high demand for holidays. Franchisee Rachael Coyne, who has made a record-breaking £1.3million in sales this year already with her husband Colman, says, “We normally have a peak booking season that runs from January to March. This year, peak booking season has kept on running and shows no sign of stopping. January will be even busier and so there is no better time to be a travel consultant.”

Two weeks ago, Steve Witt predicted a 340% year-on-year increase in holiday bookings during Peaks (Jan-Mar 2023) and 440% rise compared to pre-Covid Peak sales (Jan-March 2020).

Several franchisees are making record-breaking monthly holidays sales, having swapped careers only a few years ago. Husband and wife duo Mark and Isobel McCardie recently made £1 million in holiday sales in just one month.

Dale Sidebottom, who upgraded his franchise package from Lite to Elite in only February this year, hit his required sales targets which enabled him to win his entire franchise fee back through Not Just Travel’s unique Money Back Challenge - effectively starting his business for free.

The Travel Franchise has seen a four-fold increase in phone calls and enquiries in the last month as people want to switch careers, or earn supplemental income as a travel consultant.
