whichfranchise presence at Birmingham Franchise Exhibition

We’ve just returned from an exhausting but inspirational weekend! Yes like many of you we attended the Birmingham Franchise Exhibition.

Making that huge life changing decision as to whether to become a franchisee or stay in employment is mind blowing!

Where do you start? How do you decide if franchising is right for you? If it is, how do you choose which one to pick? Whose and ethical franchisor? How do you siphon the genuine article from the “ cheque book and pulse sales pitch con men” It is a total minefield!

And that’s just for the potential franchisee! For the ethical franchisor it is as equally important to find the right franchisee for their business. Picking the wrong one can have a disastrous effect not only on their business but their brand.

Whichfranchise.com were sponsoring and hosting “the Franchisee Panel” at the exhibition and over the 2 days more than 400 people listened to franchisees tell “their stories”.
We really decided to get involved in this to give people a greater understanding of franchising and help them make that huge decision as to whether franchising is right for them and if so how to choose the right franchise for them. Hearing “real life” franchisees telling “their stories” really hits home and because it’s informal and they tell it “as it is” the audience can identify with them and it really works. It promoted lots of interest & questions from the audience.

The franchisee’s were brilliant and were not only a real credit to their Companies but to franchising and really helped a lot of people in the decision making process.

Ray Lamb of WPA said, “I thoroughly enjoyed my time on the panel and think it's a superb concept. As I said on the panel, my advice to anyone looking for a Franchise would be to go to as many seminars and events like the panels as possible to really understand what Franchising is all about and what to look for when making such an important decision.”

It was such as success that we have decided to do the “Franchisee Panel” again next year at the Glasgow, Manchester, London and Birmingham shows.
We’re looking forward to hearing more franchisee stories.
