Muffin Break Workington Reopens After £50,000 Refurbishment

Muffin Break Workington is set to reopen on Saturday 28th February following a £50,000 refurbishment, bringing a fresh new look to the popular café.
Located in Washington Square Shopping Centre, the store temporarily closed to undergo the refurbishment, part of Muffin Break’s continued investment across its UK estate. The upgrade coincides with the start of the café’s second 10 year term, reinforcing the brand’s long term commitment to the Workington community.
Fully refreshed in line with Muffin Break’s latest brand design guidelines, the result is a brighter, more modern and welcoming space for customers to enjoy their favourite freshly baked treats and barista-made coffee.
Muffin Break is known for baking on-site daily, serving a wide range of sweet and savoury options alongside coffee made from premium 100% Arabica beans. Following the refurbishment, customers can also look forward to the launch of a new Made to Order Brunch menu, featuring dishes such as a Classic Breakfast and Eggs Benny. The upgraded café provides the perfect setting for everything from quick coffee breaks to leisurely brunches and relaxed lunches.
Mike Johnson, Franchise Development Executive at Foodco UK, said:
“We are delighted to be reinvesting in our Workington store as it enters its next 10 year term. This refurbishment reflects our commitment to maintaining modern, welcoming cafés for our customers and ensuring the brand continues to evolve. We look forward to welcoming everyone back to enjoy the refreshed space.”
Muffin Break is part of the Foodco Group, which also owns sister brand Jamaica Blue, with both brands continuing to grow and invest across the UK.
