World Leading Bubble Tea Brand Launches First UK Franchise Opportunities

Globally renowned Taiwanese Bubble Tea brand, Milksha has launched details its first UK franchise opportunities at London’s International Franchise Show. Milksha has over 300 stores in Taiwan and around the world, and now the long-awaited bubble tea brand has arrived in the UK, with its first flagship store located in Shaftesbury Avenue, London.

With over 350 stores worldwide Milksha is growing from strength to strength, last year the brand sold over 1 million cups of Fresh Taro Milk in Taiwan alone! That’s the equivalent of 268 Taipei 101 buildings.  Milksha launched its flagship, and first, UK store on Shaftesbury Avenue, London last October and has been overwhelmed by the success.

Bubble tea has been growing in popularity globally since it was first introduced in the 1980s, it is a fast growing market in the UK with 6.3% compound annual growth (CAGR) over the past 5 years, which equates to a 35% total growth over this period.  As demand grows for customisable, Instagram friendly dessert drinks independent research suggests the UK bubble tea market is set to grow 50% over the next 5 years and by 225% over the next 10 years.*

Milksha has almost 20 years experience in the business and was voted voted the No. 1 Bubble Tea Brand by Taiwan’s University Students and won of 3 Stars at A.A.Taste Awards earlier this year.

Consumers are becoming more aware and conscious about the product they are consuming and the impact on their health.
