The Drain Guys signs new franchise for North West London
Shkelzen Bajrakurtaj (Zen) has joined The Drain Guys as the franchisee for the North West London territory.
Zen comes from a strong construction background, having trained as a builder and spent the last seven years working in drylining. During this time, he gained valuable experience delivering major commercial and residential projects across London, developing a solid understanding of site work, time pressures, and high standards of workmanship.
At 26 years old and married, Zen was motivated to start his own business in pursuit of a better work–life balance. Known for picking up new skills quickly, he felt the missing piece was the right opportunity to prove himself. While working self-employed in drylining, he faced long hours and physically demanding work. Although never afraid of hard work, Zen wanted to build something of his own that would also allow him to spend quality time with his family, go to the gym, and enjoy playing football which is a passion of his.
After meeting Gavin Dimmock, owner and franchisor of The Drain Guys, Zen decided to move forward with the franchise. He found Gavin’s transparency, honesty, and straightforward approach to the business refreshing, and the level of initial and ongoing support was a key factor in his decision.
