Children's Nursery Franchise Achieves 'Good' Across the Board
Canopy Children’s Nursery St. Albans owned by franchisees Karishma Dhamecha and Mihir Shah, has received a glowing report from Ofsted during their first inspection.
Achieving a ‘Good’ rating across the board, in areas including ‘Quality of Education’ and ‘Behaviour and Attitudes,’ the inspectors described the team as showing enthusiasm and a genuine interest in the children. Children are happy and settled in the nursery and there’s a strong emphasis within the nursery to get to know the families that come through their doors.
Since launching in 2023, the nursery, which is part of the Canopy Children’s Nurseries franchise, has become part of the local community, providing exceptional day care for babies and children 0-4yrs. Throughout the inspection it was observed that the children behave well, showing kindness to their friends, use their manners and are beginning to share well, with the staff acting as good role models in this development.
Karishma Dhamecha, co-owner with her husband Mihir, was thrilled to get such a positive report from Ofsted, commenting: "We are delighted that Ofsted has rated Canopy St. Albans as good across the board. My background is in teaching, and I have always had a passion for childcare, with dreams to own my own nursery. So, for our hard work to be recognised by Ofsted in this way is a wonderful achievement.
