Slough duo launch local estate agency employing local talent

Based in Burnham Village, husband-and-wife team Will and Anita Chang have recently launched EweMove, an estate agency taking a much-needed revitalised and fresh approach for local buyers, sellers and landlords across Slough and the surrounding the communities. Bringing the in-demand hybrid estate agency model to the area, Will and Anita have set out to simplify the property market by combining the best of the traditional in-person high street model with cutting-edge technology.

The ambitious duo brings a range of experience to their new venture. Anita comes from a financial background, having worked for Santander for close to 20 years, while Will’s experience lies in retail and more recently in field management and commercial sales. The passionate entrepreneurs are used to the demands of customer-facing roles and expectations and are excited to build a healthy, local business that employs the best local talent while raising the standards in an industry with a historically poor reputation.

“We’ve always kept a keen eye on the property industry, so to be able to combine our interests with our careers is just fantastic,” said Anita. “Launching our own local business is something we’ve been talking about for so long, so we’re really happy to have brought an innovative and completely new experience to people in an area we call home! We love how much diversity our community has and we know that Slough has a really exciting future – especially in the property market. We can’t wait to see how much the area grows over the next few years, and we’re thrilled to have the chance to become a trusted service provider for those in search of a place they can call home.”

As the UK’s first hybrid estate agency, EweMove removes the stress associated with buying, selling or letting a property. Customers deal with the same agent throughout their entire moving journey, providing a consistent, honest and trustworthy approach while giving you an immediate point of contact – something that has been missing in the property industry for years. With exceptional client delivery the priority for EweMove, Will and Anita hope to make local customers’ whole experience smoother and more manageable.

While a local business to Slough, Will and Anita have the support of a huge national team of experts behind them. This approach has transformed the property market, completely removing the stress associated with moving and putting control back into local people’s hands. They are committed to being people-focused, not property-focused, and they have huge plans to create jobs and grow the property market in their hometown.

“Both Anita and I have always loved working directly with customers,” added Will. “Our main focus when growing the business will be to delight our customers; to give them that fantastic end-to-end service to help them take that next step on the property ladder, whether they’re buying their first home or their forever home.”
