The Travel Franchise, the UK’s fastest growing travel franchise was presented with the Highest New Entry of the Year award in HSBC’s prestigious Elite Franchise Top 100 league table on 16th March.

Out of 900 franchises, The Travel Franchise shot straight to number 17 despite never appearing on the list before.

Head of franchise marketing, Jenny Farenden, received the award at the glitzy ceremony at a London hotel:

“We are particularly thrilled because over 900 franchises applied from all different industries. Not only are we the only franchise in the travel industry to be included in the top 20 but we beat some incredible brands! Being recognised as one of the best franchises across all industries is a huge achievement following a year of massive investment and growth for our company.”

The EF100 is Britain’s definitive list celebrating excellence in the franchise community.

Every single franchise is scrutinised by an independent panel of top judges who score entrants on core criteria that helps gauge their growth, ambitions and contributions made to franchisees and the community.

“In 2022 we either won or were shortlisted for nearly 30 awards following investment of over £1 million in technology, the launch of a new cruise division and the recruitment of travel experts who help our franchisees build their homeworking travel consultancy business.”

While we are proud to receive the award, Farenden says the most rewarding part of her job is seeing franchisees enjoy the benefits of its investment, with some consultants recording extraordinary sales over the last year.

“We really are enjoying record sales in 2023, on the back of huge growth in 2022. The Travel Franchise is one of the UK’s fastest growing travel agency businesses and we have big plans for this year having already recruited some big names in the industry.”

“We are urging anyone who is considering joining us as a new franchisee to get in touch as soon as possible. Demand is very high which means our training dates fill up fast.”

Farenden received the award on behalf of co-founder Paul Harrison who had jetted to Cyprus to host one of the company’s infamous ‘retreats’ where franchisees are treated like royalty on a five-day ‘fam’ trip to explore a destination overseas and benefit from classroom-style workshops on how to grow their business.

Harrison says: “Our franchise enables people to work from home, work flexible hours and run a small business or scale up fast to create a big travel agency with packages ranging from £2,995 to £49,995. Our investment means that hundreds of people are earning money doing something they love, living a dream life and enjoying a work/life balance they never believed would be possible.”
