The Travel Franchise, the UK's fastest-growing travel franchise has taken 16 of its members to Mauritius to experience some of the island’s most impressive luxury resorts and golf courses.

The trip (5-12 Nov) comes after a record-breaking month of sales in October and included some of its top-performing ‘big hitting’ travel consultant members, including Mark and Isobel McCardie who recently made £1m of sales in one month.

Co-founder Paul Harrison and Beachcomber Resorts, one of the company's Key Trade Partners, hosted the heavily-subsidised trip which included overnight stays at several of Beachcomber Resorts’ luxurious hotels with free time to explore Mauritius.

Every one of The Travel Franchise’s overseas trips also includes training and mentoring by co-founder Paul Harrison, as well as the chance to meet established franchisees, such as David Walker, who recently made a £160,000 booking.

The members stayed at the magnificent Shandrani Resort & Spa, nestled on a private peninsula in the south-eastern coast of the island with the chance to play the onsite nine-hole course.

They also enjoyed a round at the 18-hole championship Avalon Golf Course and the 18-hole Paradis Golf Club where they teed off a mere 20 metres from the beach, against a majestic mountain backdrop.

After a relaxing night at Paradis Beachcomber, the trip ended at Trou Aux Biches Beachcomber with the chance to play Mont Choisy Le Golf, the only 18-hole, par-72 championship course in the north featuring unique Mauritian black volcanic rock outcrops and tricky shots crafted by renowned South African golf architect peter Matkovich.

The annual golfing holiday is just one of many overseas trips The Travel Franchise offers its homeworking travel consultants which also include overseas Millionaire Retreats and Elite Experiences in various luxury destinations abroad and the annual Seminar at Sea cruise training on a cruise ship.

Paul Harrison says:

“We want our franchisees to travel. It’s a perk of the job but it’s also important that agents get to experience the type of holidays they enjoy selling.

“Our overseas trips are a chance for our agents to get together, brainstorm, mentor each other and experience a destination plus several resorts in one trip.”

“Many take bookings for the hotels while they are on the trip as a result of their inspirational social media posts and great deals offered by our partners.”

“On our golf trips our consultants get to play some incredible championship courses. Golf is a niche product but one that gets a high level of lucrative repeat clients.”
