Mark Fletcher has been the owner of the Aspray (Swindon) franchise for a little over five years now. However, as of September this year his territory has expanded to Gloucester and Cheltenham.

It is not uncommon for a franchisee to join Aspray with the ambition to grow their business to a team of people or expand their influence by buying into another territory. Of course, this requires a strong performance in the form of one to two years of exponential business growth. Mark Fletcher is one of Aspray’s top performing franchisees and reflects the high standard of loss assessing that Aspray is known for.

Mark has become well known in Swindon for his services. Property managers, brokers, estate agents, and contractors in the area have benefited from passing insurance claims over for him to manage. These connections have come about from networking groups, local advertising and through word of mouth.

As a result, Mark has worked on many different types of property damage insurance claims from a flash flooding to 6 basement flats, escape of oil in a back garden resulting in moving 80 tonnes of contaminated soil, to water damage caused by ruptured underfloor water pipes and everything in between.

Based on the success of his franchise in Swindon and careful analysis of the opportunities in Gloucester and Cheltenham, Mark is hoping to set up a similar strategy of working with people in the property sector to win claim referrals. With winter just around the corner, property damage becomes much more frequent as people start to put their boilers back on and notice leaks. Mark is hoping to be in high demand in his new territories.

Mark’s journey over the past five years demonstrates the heights that can be achieved owning an Aspray franchise. Having a background of construction, property or insurance knowledge coupled with a strong work ethic are key foundations at Aspray. After that, the sky really is the limit.

Upon the expansion of his territory, Mark took a moment to pause and show gratitude for how far he has come.

“I am grateful for our introducers that continue to recommend us to their clients to support them with their building insurance claims. These are insurance brokers, plumbers, leak detection companies, letting agents and block managers. All of whom we supply a claims management arm to their team and who they feel comfortable with the support we offer their clients.

“To our contractors and suppliers who continue to work hard and support us in the reinstatement of people properties to pre-loss condition.

“Also, to our Aspray Head Office who are on hand to support on claims, along with building the introducer network, accounts and marketing.”
