ChipsAway, the UK’s leading minor car body paintwork repair service, has launched a new TV advertisement to promote the convenience and ease of the service they offer.

The new TV commercial demonstrates how easy it is for customers to enquire and obtain their free, no-obligation repair estimate. Customers can submit details on the ChipsAway website 24/7 from the comfort of their own home. The TV advert also shows how quickly and conveniently minor damage can be repaired by a ChipsAway specialist, whether they operate as a mobile specialist or from a Car Care Centre.

Rebecca de Chair, Group Marketing Manager said: “We are delighted to reveal the new TV advertising campaign. We wanted to create an advert that demonstrates how quick and easy it is to make a ChipsAway enquiry for a free repair estimate. Customers can submit a few details online at any time, day or night, in just a few minutes, and one of our specialists will be in touch.

“We have also used this opportunity to showcase the varying types of damage the ChipsAway network are able to repair, as well as clearly demonstrating the stages of a repair. We believe this will help to educate our customers about the level of work and professionalism which goes into every ChipsAway repair."

ChipsAway was launched in the UK 28 years ago now, and this will be our 13th year on TV. This activity has helped to fuel some of our highest customer enquiry numbers, as well as building the brand through creating fantastic awareness. We are looking forward to growing this even further with our latest advert.

The national TV advertising campaign includes coverage on channels such as Dave, Sky Sports, Discovery Channel, Comedy Central and Sky News, not to mention some great exposure during popular Championship football matches – which will help to reach our target audiences brilliantly.

“The feedback we’ve had from the ChipsAway network, who were of course the first to see it, has been extremely positive, and we are looking forward to seeing the results now it’s live on air!”

With 6 months’ worth of TV activity still to run for this year, the ChipsAway network look set to continue to benefit from the fantastic brand awareness and lead generation, that this form of advertising helps to generate!
