Happy 10th Birthday Boofle from Card Connection!
Leading greeting card publisher and franchisor, Card Connection recently celebrated Boofle’s 10th birthday at their annual conference. Made from 100% love and cuddles, oh and lots of wool and a little button, Boofle has quickly become a star in the greeting card world with sales of over 70 million cards.
Boofle, created by David Blake, first catapulted into the market in 2008, and soon won Best Cute Range at “the Henries” – the Oscars of the greeting card industry.
This delightful knitted pooch has an endearing story: ‘Grandad’s woolly cardy has seen better days, it was still soft and cosy, but a little bit frayed. There were holes in the elbows and just one button remained, but from this, Nanny was sure something else could be made. So she started to sew on that cold winter’s night, and Boofle was born, much to the children’s delight. Boofle was all that a snugglesome pup should be, loveable and cuddly and a best friend to you and me.’
