THE LITTLE GYM HARPENDEN BRINGS UK SITES TO SEVEN
Following a three-year search for premises, The Little Gym Harpenden is gearing up for its big opening next month. Situated on the Rothamsted Research campus, just off West Common, The Little Gym offers a unique motor skills and curriculum-based gymnastics programme for children of all abilities, from 4 months to 12 years.
The seventh franchise to open in the UK, The Little Gym was originally launched in the US in 1976 and has over 300 centres worldwide. The spring opening at Harpenden follows the opening of The Little Gym Westfield London last autumn. Centres at Windsor and Harrogate are also scheduled to open later this year, with Buckinghamshire, Basingstoke, Guildford, Hampstead, Weybridge, Winchester and Windsor to follow.
The Little Gym’s unique programme is specifically designed to boost self-esteem while building physical, social and intellectual skills. Weekly themed classes enable children to progress at their own pace and gain confidence in a lively, fun environment. Activities promote co-ordination, balance, rhythm and flexibility, as well as listening and social skills, giving youngsters vital tools for life.
