NEW BRITISH HOT CHICKEN BRAND, ZINGLET, LAUNCHED BY THE FOUNDERS OF CAPRINOS
Zinglet, a new British hot chicken quick service restaurant brand by the founders of Caprinos, has today launched in the UK with an ambitious strategy to become the leading British premium hot chicken brand. It will open its debut site in Birkenhead on 15th May, with further restaurants set to open in the near term.
Zinglet is a brand-new concept by Khalil Rehman and Gul Nawaz, the co-founders of Caprinos Pizza – an award-winning and fast-growing franchised takeaway pizza brand. After starting Caprinos in 2015, the pair have scaled the brand through franchising to over 120 global locations, including more than 110 in the UK, with a reputation for serving innovative flavour combinations at affordable prices.
Created as a standalone brand, Zinglet will serve a carefully crafted menu of freshly breaded, made-to-order hot chicken. Built around bold flavour, the menu centres on wings, tenders, and burgers, all available in four distinct spice levels to suit every palate.
Zinglet’s hot chicken is finished with a unique blend of herbs and spices, delivering a signature taste that sets it apart.
Its first franchised location in Birkenhead will be a 40-seater restaurant designed as a destination for family dining and date nights. smaller formats franchised sites will open shortly, enabling Zinglet to test and learn with different store sizes and locations before kick-starting its national roll-out.
Over the next 12 months, Zinglet is aiming to scale to at least 15 locations in a variety of formats and location types. This will enable the brand to test and learn while leveraging data and insights to shape its accelerated roll-out over the coming years.
