New franchisee Fiona Louise leaps into action after successful CQC registration

blossom-fiona.jpg

As part of the thorough training and onboarding we provide to all new Blossom Home Care franchisees, careful consideration is given to new offices’ Care Quality Commission (CQC) registrations.

Receiving a positive rating from the CQC quickly is vital to getting new Blossom locations up and running efficiently, and delivering the unbeatable level of client care that we’re famed for. Typically it can take up to 16 weeks to complete the process, but thanks to our meticulously honed processes, we can help franchisees get rubber-stamped in half the time.

We’re delighted to say that new Blossom franchisee Fiona Louise – who is overseeing the operation of our Worcester territory – has successfully received her CQC registration and is now able to start delivering services across the area.

To find out more about how Fiona found the process and what’s next in store, we caught up with her over a cuppa for a quick Q&A…

Hi Fiona, and welcome to Blossom Home Care! Tell us how you found the CQC application process?

Initially I found the CQC process long due to the current wait time. However, I was so relieved when I received my date and then registration to be the nominated individual and registered manager. The process was well worth the wait and wasn't anywhere near as daunting as I thought it would be thanks to Blossom.

What did you make of the support you received from head office?

Fantastic! John and Fiona have both been so supportive throughout the whole process. Even today, nothing is ever too much trouble. John helps with the business side of things and Fiona helps with all the care aspects – it’s the perfect combination.

They also have a great franchise manager who is always available, as well as a good external support team. I have learnt so much in such a short space of time; I am very pleased I chose Blossom Home Care to open a franchise with.

How have you found the level of enquiries at your new office?

We have had lots of enquiries from clients, more than 60 in the last few weeks alone. As a wider brand, Blossom Home Care is becoming more and more well-known in the industry, so potential clients are naturally warmed to us and keen to find out more about how we can help.

Can you tell us more about your new office and plans for the business?

Blossom Home Care Worcester officially started trading on 2 March 2023, covering all of Worcester and its surrounding areas, including Bewdley and Stourport. As the registered manager for the business I am hoping to start delivering 150 hours of care per week initially and grow from there. I can’t wait to see where my Blossom journey takes me!
