Leading pizza franchise Papa John’s has opened for the first time in Perth, Scotland.  The new store based on Scott Street, will be run by multi-unit franchisee Nazim Vadiwala, who has recruited 20 new local staff to deliver Papa John’s top-quality pizza, known for its “BETTER INGREDIENTS.  BETTER PIZZA.” concept to residents in the city, known as the Gateway to the Highlands.

Nazim Vadiwala who joined Papa John’s as a franchisee in 2018 explains: “I also run Papa John’s in Edinburgh, Whitley Bay and opened in Clydebank earlier this year.  Perth is a great new spot for us, and we are looking forward to delivering all the fun and great taste of Papa John’s pizza to the community, for families and friends to enjoy!

“The key to my success opening multi-unit stores is my team.  They are the strength of the business.  I also have a very experienced area manager Syed Salman, to oversee operations. Without great people, there is no business.

“I’ve also had support from Papa John’s central team who are always on hand to answer any questions and supply national marketing support by constantly coming up with the type of new and innovative promotional campaigns that only a proven, global brand can provide.”

Nazim Vadiwala who previously worked for a rival pizza company for ten years confirms:
“For the opening of the new store itself, I was able to take advantage of the generous Papa John’s incentive scheme. Which has been super helpful and a valuable benefit as we look to expand.   I’m really excited to be planning to open further stores delivering great pizza in the next few years.  As well as growing my portfolio this will also create many new job opportunities in the region too.”

Amit Pancholi, Business Development Director Papa John’s UK confirms: “We are looking forward to working with Nazim on developing future opportunities and realising our aligned goal of driving the Papa John’s brand to make it accessible to even more customers across the UK.”

For those interested in running a multi-unit Papa John’s franchise or opening-up in a ‘non-traditional’ location, incentives are on offer in addition to world-class support, comprehensive training and national marketing.  As a franchisor, the Company supplies all the assistance needed to get your successful Papa John’s up and running.
