Since Joining the Caremark network as franchised business owner of the Caremark (Aylesbury & Wycombe) territory in November, Kris has made a number of important innovations such as introducing the Government’s ‘KickStart’ scheme in order to employ ‘Care Champions’ from the local community. This team provides mental health and companionship support to clients for free, reducing isolation many felt during lockdowns due to Coronavirus.

With people losing their jobs throughout his local community, whether from the insolvent Arcadia Group, the much-blighted aviation industry, or the hard-hit hospitality sector, in fact anyone being made redundant due to COVID19 restrictions, he offered guaranteed interviews to every one of them. Even appearing as a guest on a local radio station to get the message across that he was not only employing, but guaranteeing interviews top all those struggling.

Kris recognised to need to free up hospital beds during the pandemic, so he paid for 10 carers to undergo complex care training so his business can support the local council and NHS trusts to discharge patients out of hospital quicker and safely into their own homes.

Kris, obviously delighted with this recognition from this highly regarded publication, had this to say: “I am delighted to be nominated for the best home care innovator on the HCI Power List 2021, I could not have achieved this without the support of my outstanding team at Caremark (Aylesbury and Wycombe)”
