Zambrero Celebrates Rochdale Opening with Free Burrito Day as UK Expansion Continues
Zambrero, the global modern Mexican restaurant franchise, is set to celebrate the arrival of its latest UK restaurant in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, with a special Free Burrito Day on Thursday 12th November, thanking local customers for their support and welcoming those looking to experience the brand for the first time.
The new Mellor Street restaurant officially opened its doors to the public on 25th September, becoming Zambrero's 18th UK location since launching in the market in 2021. The opening marks another milestone in the brand's ongoing expansion and its ambition to bring its distinctive fast-casual dining experience to more communities across the country.
To celebrate its arrival in Rochdale, Zambrero will be giving away hundreds of freshly prepared burritos and bowls between 11am and 2pm on Thursday 12th November. The event is designed as a thank you to the customers who have already visited and supported the restaurant since opening, while extending a warm welcome to anyone keen to discover Zambrero for the first time.
The celebration will also feature music from resident Zambrero scratch DJ NC, creating a lively atmosphere and bringing the local community together.

Customers can choose from burritos, bowls, tacos, nachos and quesadillas, with a selection of slow-cooked fillings, fresh ingredients and vegetarian, vegan and halal options.
Alongside its food offering, Zambrero's established Plate 4 Plate initiative provides a further point of difference within the competitive fast-casual restaurant market. Through the programme, a meal is donated to someone in need for every burrito or bowl purchased, with more than 110 million meals donated globally to date.
