Jamaica Blue Sets Opening Date for New Barnet Cafe

Jamaica Blue will open the doors of its new Barnet café on Thursday 12th November, bringing premium speciality coffee and a vibrant all-day dining experience to the heart of the town.
Located next to Barclays bank on the High Street, the café represents a £300,000 investment in Barnet and will create 15 new local jobs, with recruitment already underway via Indeed.
Founded in Australia more than 30 years ago, Jamaica Blue takes its name from Jamaica's famed Blue Mountains, the source of some of the world's most sought-after coffee beans. Those beans remain at the heart of the brand's speciality coffee, served alongside a fresh, made-to-order menu of indulgent brunches, gourmet sandwiches, lunch plates and handcrafted cakes and sweet treats.
The opening marks the next step in Jamaica Blue's UK growth, as the brand continues to invest in thriving town centres and key retail destinations.
Michael Johnson, Head of Franchise Development at Foodco UK, said:
"Barnet has everything we look for: a proud community, a busy high street and people who care about good coffee. We're investing £300,000 and creating 15 new jobs because we believe in this town and want to play a real part in it. From 12th November, we'll be serving some of the finest coffee on the planet, alongside fresh, made-to-order food, in a café we hope will quickly become a local favourite."
